Almonds are botanically seeds inside the pit of the almond fruit, although in cooking they are usually used like nuts. They naturally contain a lot of vitamin E and magnesium: vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress, and magnesium contributes to normal muscle function.
